01 The problem
Wastewater plants combine pumping, aeration, chemical feed and compliance reporting. That needs an engineered solution, not a catalog kit.
A wastewater plant takes in raw sewage and returns clean water to the environment: screening and grit removal, aerated lagoon treatment, clarification, disinfection and discharge, with sludge handled along the way. Pumps, blowers, levels and chemicals run around the clock, and discharge limits leave no room for surprises.

How it works, stage by stage.
- Collection system & lift stations. Sewage flows by gravity and through lift stations to the plant.
- Headworks & influent pumping. Screens and grit removal protect the plant; influent pumps lift flow into treatment.
- Lagoon treatment. Aerated lagoon cells break down organic material as the flow moves slowly from cell to cell.
- Clarification. Solids settle out; sludge is returned or wasted.
- Disinfection. Effluent is disinfected before discharge.
- Effluent & compliance. Treated water is measured and discharged.
- Sludge handling. Settled solids are thickened, digested or stored, and hauled away.
